Diablo 4 Season 7: Best 1

It's 9 March 2025, and season 7 of Diablo 4 (underway since January) is still rocking Sanctuary. This Necromancer build - centred on a single button, Blood Wave - is hands down the most brain-dead, overpowered setup in the game right now. One cast and everything dies - Tormented Duriel, Pit 100, you name it. No need for perfect gear, no minion micromanagement, just pure, lazy destruction. Inspired by WOLFGANG's YouTube guide (linked above), here's the full breakdown of how to dominate Season 7 before Season 8 (29 April) potentially nerfs it into oblivion. Let's roll!  

Why This Build Rules

One button: Blood Wave - that's it. No snapshots, no corpse spam, just press and clear.  Power: One-shot Tormented bosses and Pit 100 with half-level glyphs. Trillions of damage possible.  Ease: Automatically groups enemies every 8s via the Hungry Void. Run, press, win.  Survivability: Stay healthy 99% of the time - barriers, curses and blood orbs keep you alive.Core mechanic: 15 stacksBlood consumed stacks: Requires 15 for Blood Wave to overwhelm (100% chance).  How it works: Regenerate slowly while healthy (>80% HP). Blood orbs (from Blood Wave) max it instantly.  Gameplay loop: Run, let enemies group, hit 15 stacks, cast. No stacks? Zero damage - watch this buff!AbilitiesBlood Surge (Enhanced + Psychic): Your only skill. Groups, kills, drops 6 blood orbs. No corpses needed - the Hungry Void sucks enemies in.  Nothing else: Literally one button. Add more if you like, but why bother?

Book of the Dead

Sacrifice everything: No minions - pure stats.  Skeletal warriors (skirmishers): +Crit Chance.  Mage (Cold): +Overpower damage.  Golem (Blood): +Crit damage.Result: 100% crit easy with gear-sacrificing bonuses stacking hard.

Gear: Stack Damage While Healthy/Fortified

Helmet: Harlequin Crest (CDR, survivability) or Heir of Perdition (less tanky, more damage).  Chest: Shroud of False Death - boosts ultimates.  Gloves: Tibault's Will - additional Blood Wave ranks, damage.  Trousers: Kyrsan's Legacy (unique)-dual Blood Wave casts, pulls enemies, increases damage per hit.  Boots: Movement speed (GA), optional curse size or overpower.  Weapon: 2H Mace Titanic Aspect (2 extra waves, can't be recast mid-animation) or Aspect of the Riven Ground (damage boost). Pick the highest roll.  Amulet: Aspect of Cursed Aura - auto-curses for essence regeneration.  Rings:  Ultimate Shadow - causes Blood Wave to deal Shadow damage (bonus synergy).  Fastblood—blood orbs cut CDR (2-3s ideal; 1s works).Aspects:  Sacrifice: Increases sacrifice bonuses.  GA priorities: Blood Wave CDR, double damage, damage while healthy/enhanced.

Runes

Igny + Vex: +3 skills on overlap - must be cast together (no reapply).  Bac + Qua: Big numbers - overpower scales with max life. Trade Qua for Life if tankier.

Witchcraft Powers

Cycle:  Aura of Siphoning: Passive essence.  Shatter and Soul: 100% vulnerability (no RNG).  Force of Will: Overpower buff.  Voice of the Stars: Ultimate damage.  Friend of the Bog: Extra stats.Why Shake and Soul? Consistency-lazy build skips the multi-skill RNG.

Skill Tree

Key Picks:  Decrepify/Iron Maiden (via Cursed Aura): Auto-Essence (5/enemy), 7% HP on kills.  Blood Wave (max): Core skill - extra orbs, damage reduction.  Shadowblight: Increases Shadow damage.  Skeletal/Mage/Golem Mastery: Sacrifice stats.  Reaper's Pursuit: Movement speed.  Stand Alone: Damage reduction (no pets).Passive: Hellbent Commander - 100% Overpower after 15 seconds of health.

Paragon Boards

Lazy setup:  Abyssal: Non-physical/shadow damage.  Blood begets blood (Dominate): Blood orbs = damage.  Bloodbath (Essence): 100x Overpower, crit.  Frailty (Imbue): Vulnerability increases.  Scent of Death: No minion damage, healthy/enhanced scaling.Optional: Corpse Consumption for harder content - Skip for one-button ease.

Playstyle

Walk around - Hungry Void groups enemies every 8s.  Check Stacks - hit 15 (orbs help).  Cast Blood Wave - everything dies.  Pick up orbs, repeat. No spam - wait for groups.

Performance

Torment 4: One-shot bosses (such as Duriel) with mid-level glyphs.  Pit 100: Clears with level 1 glyphs - broken AF.  Pit 150: Added buttons for optimisation, but still viable.

Why It’s OP

Survived Season 7 nerf - minion builds can't touch it.  Trillions of damage from crit/overpower stacking.  Zero effort - auto curses, auto grouping, one cast.
